Hey Preemadonnas! I’m Elise and I am 18 years old. I have been an Intern at Preemadonna for almost 3 years! During the 2017 Girl Scout Convention, I met Pree and was introduced to Preemadonna. Since then, I have written blog posts, made Tik Toks, and beta tested the Nailbot unit.
My two sisters—Alana (15) and Brianne (12)—and I love how the Nailbot makes doing your nails super quick and creative. My sisters and I all have very different interests so it has been great that the Nailbot is a common interest between the three of us.
Alana is the creative thinker in the family. She loves to do art, whether it may be digital or pencil and paper. Since she was 5 years old, she has played the cello. She has even played at a national competition in New York City! In addition to music and art, she loves being a part of the musical theatre community. Some of her favorite roles have been: James from James and the Giant Peach, Miss. Hannagan from Annie, Scuttle from The Little Mermaid, and Seitz from Newsies.
Brianne is the maker. She enjoys spending her time at robotics, where she loves figuring out how things work. Brie also has a newfound love of reading. Since reading the Hunger Games, she has been spending every spare second practicing with her recurve bow and arrows. Brie is an amazing runner, and this year she was top 12 on her school’s cross country team!
Finally, I am the social sister. One of my favorite things to do is take photoshoots with my friends. I love taking pictures with my trusty Nikon D3400 and importing them into Lightroom to play with the coloring. Another huge part of my life is diving. This year I made it to varsity for the 3rd year in a row and was nominated as team captain. Volunteering in my local Emergency Room is another thing that I am proud of. Through Girl Scouts, I have co-founded a local NASA-sponsored astronomy club, volunteered on Mackinac Island, and became the National Delegate for my council.
While each of our personalities is vastly different, one thing that we all have in common is the Nailbot: Alana loves designing the newest Nailbot art, I love doing my nails with lots of different designs, and Brie enjoys troubleshooting our beta bot.
