Working on Preemadonna's STEM Kit Nailbot project has been a dream, and I can't wait to share my journey with you. This project is truly so important to me as an engineering student and a passionate advocate for girls in STEM. Preemadonna's vision was clear: to empower young girls to explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, all while creating something truly remarkable – a Nailbot. But this kit is not just about putting together the pieces; it's about understanding the why behind the how.
Last month, our friends at Reinvented Magazine🔩 asked if they could showcase a Nailbot at their event Space Gala: A Celebration of Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Since we can't turn down any opportunity that celebrates women in STEM, we were elated at this opportunity.
Our CEO and founder Pree Walia was invited by Girl Scouts San Diego to be a key speaker at their Empowering Me Older Girls Conference, a one-day conference centered around educating young women around four Girl Scout pillars: STEM, Entrepreneurship, Outdoors, and Life Skills. Pree was a Girl Scouts herself growing up so she was excited to be able to give back to the organization in this way.

For those that don't know, Cosmoprof is the leading B2B beauty exhibition where the beauty industry comes together to learn about new beauty brands, experience new product innovations, and discover channels of manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.
Our founder and CEO Pree Walia was invited by San Diego Stem Startups, a Del Norte High School Student-led club that encourages students to start their own businesses around STEM ideas, to speak on her experience in technology and entrepreneurship industry.
We just got back from Austin, Texas where we attended SXSW, a festival that celebrates the convergence of the tech, film, and music industries. We had a busy week of pitching Nailbot, painting, priming, and painting nails, meeting other female founders, and showcasing the Nailbot, so you could say it was an event-filled, action-packed week for us.
